Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 dev with console-setup 1.70ubuntu7. If console-
setup is removed there is still its configuration left in the initrd.
This makes it possible that the system can contain a keyboard layout
which would normally not possible. Even after rebooting the system the
"invalid" keybord layout is still available. Only if a random package
update causes a call of "update-initramfs -u" the keyboard layout will
be updated. This behavior can cause confusion to the users. A simple
solution would be to cause "update-initramfs -u" to trigger directly
after console-setup is removed.
** Affects: console-setup (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
