Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  During installation, ubiquity displays some CD-ROM specific strings,
  such as "Scanning the CD-ROM".

  This doesn't really make sense when most installs are being performed
  from usb keys now.
