  NOTIFICATION received when checking for "software up to date" >>>>

  Could not initialize the package information

  An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package
  information.

  Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and
  include the following error message:

  'E:Opening /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bhdouglass-indicator-remindor-
  precise.list - ifstream::ifstream (13: Permission denied)'

  I installed 12.04 from thumb drive then used deja-dup to restore /home
  to new hard drive then followed "http://www.matthartley.com/how-to-
  backup-your-ubuntu-software/" to restore software.
