Public bug reported:
This is a bug via the 12.10 AMD64 installer from the ubuntu website.
I sat for 10 mins waiting for the installer to open, then restarted and tried again, only to find that the system automatically added my Right hand screen(great :)) (a TV which was turned off) and then opened the installer on that screen.
I only realised this as my mouse disappeared into that screen. I could
also not highlight the secondary screen to disable it in the display
settings dialogue, only change to mirror displays. (as im writing i
noticed that screen selection only works in top 1/4 of the displays,
very unusual and unrequired? On previous versions you click the display
anywhere to select it.)
Once I mirrored the screens the installer appeared and all was ok.
This could be very confusing for users migrating from a windows system.
