Ok, I'm not familiar with technical efforts. In my video the main
problem is not "mispalcement", but "gradient theme" which disappears and
re-appear in short intervals. So I think this is NOT a duplicate.

My unity version: 6.12.0daily13.03.08-0ubuntu1

Additionals:
I didn't have this problem in previous versions of Ubuntu, from 11.04 to 12.10. But this is not an upgrade, I've fully formatted the partition and installed a fresh 13.04. Of course my home is the same.

  New

Bug description:
  As you can see in the attached video, dash background glitches while searching.
  While you enter some letters in dash search bar the gradient theme of the background disappears and when the search ends it comes back again. Since these cycles of disappearing and re-appearing occur fast make background looks to glitch.
  No difference which lens you’re in.

  Ubuntu 13.04 daily
  Dash package version: 0.5.7-3
