[Bug 1153540] [NEW] "Authentication is required to perform a release upgrade" is geeky

Public bug reported:

update-manager 1:0.174.4, Ubuntu 12.10

1. At a terminal, enter update-manager -cd
2. Choose "Upgrade..."

What happens: An authentication alert appears saying "Authentication is
required to perform a release upgrade"

The word "perform" shouldn't be necessary, the meaning of "release"
isn't clear, and the sentence is missing a period.

Better would be something like "To upgrade Ubuntu, you need to
authenticate."

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
