[Bug 1154264] [NEW] Ubiquity stuck at Preparing to install if no clean drive available

Public bug reported:

On validating step 2 Ubiquity hangs. Possibly there is a problem with
how Gparted works here.

If some partitions are mounted there is the usual prompt to unmount
though (Y,N = same result)

Since I had no issue with the same install procedure on a netbook
without swap partition I tried to swapoff all drives: no change.

Seeing http://askubuntu.com/questions/204771/ubuntu-12-10-installation-
hangs-at-preparing-to-install-ubuntu didn't help: formatting one
partition was useless (and I had succeeded with my netbook which had no
clean partitions)
