Is this still an issue for you?  This looks like a transient problem
upgrading that may have already been resolved.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: procps

  After update, I noticed that gnome-do stoped working. It was because
  it uses pgrep in running script. Problem is in pgrem, here is example:

  pgrep -u root

  It also doesn't work for non root users.
