minimal steps to reproduce:
- 1. install Ubuntu into a drive
- 2. boot from ISO of Ubuntu 12.04 12.04.1 or 12.04.2 LTS
- with boot parameters "locale=en_US automatic-ubiquity"
+ 1. install Ubuntu into a drive on KVM
+ 2. boot from ISO of Ubuntu 12.04 12.04.1 or 12.04.2 LTS
+ with boot parameters "locale=en_US automatic-ubiquity" on the same KVM machine.
Expected result:
- show a step
- "This computer currently has Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS on it. What would you like to do?"

Actual result:
- ubi-partman crashes with exit code 141.
