In newer Ubuntu versions migration-assistent was dropped, so I'm closing
this bug.

Status in “migration-assistant” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Migration-Assistant in Wubi doesn't seem to transfer any settings.

  I have a test machine setup specifically for running these tests that
  includes: Xp MCE, IE favourites, Outlook Express with mail setup etc.

  None of which are transferred to the Wubi install but are in a
  standard install when Migration-Assistant kicks in.
