[Bug 1158883] Re: Installer needs to be restarted after unmount

Well, I've done four install attempts (both computers installed
successfully) with 13.04. The first install I did, however, surprised
me. I am not sure if I clicked on any existing files in the hard drive
(which I presume would mount the drive). Regardless, the drive was
mounted. So when I ran the installer, everything went as usual until
Ubiquity reached the "Install alongside/replace" screen; IIRC it did not
make it to that step, but a popup appeared asking whether to unmount the
drive. I clicked in the affirmative, and the installer basically hung
(spinning wheel for 10 minutes-- I took a coffee break-- after which I
presumed nothing was happening.). So I killed the process, checked if
the drive was unmounted, and ran the installer again (no restart). It
then installed fine.

Title:
Installer needs to be restarted after unmount

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When installing 13.04 from live USB, the drive must be checked for
mount status before install. If the drive is mounted, the installer
will prompt to unmount the drive and then freeze. Restarting the
installer works, so I assume the freeze occurs after the unmount
