Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gcc-4.4

  This is a regression from 4.4.3:

  $ g++ -fstack-protector -std=c++0x any.cc -o any
  $ ./any
  *** stack smashing detected ***: ./any terminated

  Found in the testsuite for gcc, as shown in bug 598147.

  This appears to be fixed already in 4.5.1 and later:
