This was my third try to install on this pc - again crash at the same stage of installation.
Now I have removed all Windows data, but created empty "dummy" partitions for later Windows install like this:
sda1 350 MB ntfs primary
sda2 48 GB ntfs primary
sda4 25 GB ntfs primary
sda3 extended 112 GB
sda5 20 GB fat32 logical
and I chose to use these partitions for Pinguy:
sda6 8 GB swap
sda7 (rest of hdd) ext4 "/"
installation ran until "create user" or "add user" as the other two failed installation attempts. :-(
This time I've added the file containing password, which I set to 123456 for this try.

Bug description:
  after booting from DVD, DVD was not found as install medium. So I copied everything to USB stick and started installation again. After system user and password creation, installation crashed but was able to take me here.
