As Curtis mentioned, the meaning of "disk label" is unclear. Since this
was never described adequately, I'm closing this report.

Title:
Hard disk combo box should provide the disk label

Status in “gparted” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
The hard disk combo box in the top right of the manual installer only
displays the UNIX device node for the disk (such as /dev/hda1).

When installing on a system with more than one hard disk it is
difficult to identify which disk is disk. This combo box should
ideally show the label for the disk.
