* utils version: '1.9', utils version needed by module: '1.9'

vermagic:       3.2.0-39-generic SMP mod_unload modversions 
* I expected the package to install. I first encountered the problem before it was a known and reported bug and had read that the issue was resolved through update, but is still not resolved in my case
* I have been unable to upgrade to a higher version of linux-kernel with this consistently being the root cause
