Title:
  'netroot' with encrypted wifi doesn't work

Status in “friendly-recovery” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: sysvinit

  Given that on a stock ubuntu system, network is managed using
  NetworkManager and nm-applet and given that it doesn't kick in up to
  when a user logs in a graphic environment, going single-user (for
  recovery at grub's prompt during system startup OR for maintenance at
  any moment) offers the sysadmin with a 'netroot' menu choice that is
  useless should the system connect to the net through a wireless access
  point that is encrypted (dhcp is not enough).

  ProblemType: Bug
  Architecture: i386
  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
  Package: initscripts 2.86.ds1-61ubuntu11
  ProcEnviron:
   LANG=en_US.UTF-8
   SHELL=/bin/bash
  SourcePackage: sysvinit
  Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686
