[Bug 1181695] Re: package ifupdown 0.7.5ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade

So going through the logs, it shows that you or some script you ran
removed /etc/init.d/networking on the system before you upgraded to
saucy.

dpkg then asked you whether you wanted that file restored from the
package and you said no, as a result the file is still missing and so
the postinst fails as it (obviously) can't call it.

I'm not seeing anything that'd suggest that the removal of
/etc/init.d/networking happened automatically (caused by some other
package) and I can't reproduce that upgrade on a clean system here.

If you do manage to reproduce this on a clean raring => saucy update,
please re-open the bug report.
