  install xubuntu 13.04 on software raid, grub install fails then
  crashes

Status in “grub-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Used live desktop and reassembled previous raid devices by installing mdadm package first and using relevant mdadm commands. Then launched installer and selected raid drives to install to. Attempted to install grub to /dev/sda but failed (see below)
