Does this continue to happen after a clean boot and reboot? If so
please attach your /etc/default/grub file.

Bug description:
The line "The highlighted entry will be executed automatically in n seconds" has disappeared from the boot menu & the system waits until <enter> has been pressed.
This happened after I pressed the reset button during the boot procedure (while the screen was blank (purple)).
