[Bug 1247326] [NEW] Ubuntu won't install to my hard drive.

Public bug reported:

My hard drive was recently wiped, and I'm trying to do a fresh
installation. Whenever I try to install it, an error message pops up
saying that the installation disc cannot be read.

My hard drive sounds like it's spinning correctly, and the installation
partially begins, so maybe it's the disc itself? It always stops at the
same part.
