[Bug 1248343] [NEW] language-selector-gnome "Failed to fetch" (language for firefox and libreoffice)

Public bug reported:

Using the package language-selector-gnome 0.79.3 on LUbuntu LXLE (Ubuntu
12.04.3 LTS) to install French language,

Instead of having French language available at the end of the successful
packages download, the install process is interrupted by the following
error message:

Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/f/firefox/firefox-locale-fr_23.0+build2-0ubuntu0.12.04.1_i386.deb 404  Not Found [IP: 91.189.92.181 80]
Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/libr/libreoffice/libreoffice-l10n-fr_4.1.1-0ubuntu1~precise1_all.deb 404  Not Found
Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/libr/libreoffice/libreoffice-help-fr_4.1.1-0ubuntu1~precise1_all.deb 404  Not Found

I tried another language (namely Arabic) and got the same problem for the same packages. I don't know where to configure the address to be fetched.
I stress that I allowed the "Checking available languages" t proceed at start-up.

This tool works fine on Linux Lite 1.0.6...
