Title:
  iwconfig crashes computer

Status in “wireless-tools” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Everytime I try to run 'sudo iwconfig' the pc just crashes and hangs
with caps lock light flashing, I believe this is a kernel krash.
/var/log/syslog contains no traces of the crash. I have seen several
reports for this behaviour on Mac, and I believe they are also on
Broadcom drivers, so that is probably the lowest common denominator.
