Could you be a tad bit more specific what you mean by "upgrade". Did you
upgrade to Precise, and from what distro did you upgrade from?

Title:
  can't install xubuntu-desktop

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Update manager fails while fetching new packages -- specifically
stating it is unable to install the xubuntu-desktop package. After
doing bug report the upgrade process wants to continue with the
upgrade. Not really comfortable with an upgrade process continuing
  without a critical package.
