There should be no reason to install libc6-amd64:i386 on an amd64
system, as you already have libc6:amd64 (same goes for
lib64asound2:i386)...

Bug description:
  I've been having this issue with 12.04 AMD64 and it breaks a lot of
  multilib support, a quick search of the Ubuntu forums shows this
  issues has cropped up on a number of machines in the past weeks:

  The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libc6-dev-amd64:i386 : Depends: libc6-amd64:i386 (= 2.15-0ubuntu10.4) but it is not going to be installed
  Recommends: gcc-multilib:i386 but it is not going to be installed
  E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
