Are you still seeing this issue, and on what release, and what

Title:
fsck no longer shows progress bar

Status in “util-linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: util-linux

In previous versions of Ubuntu when fsck was triggered in the console
mode a progress bar would be displayed (presumably through the -C 0
option). While could be considered a cosmetic bug I consider it a
regression as it is useful to know how long an fsck is taking.
