Public bug reported:
tried installing the acct package on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS by typing sudo apt-get install acct. Setting up install-info (4.13a.dfsg.1-8ubuntu2)...
/etc/enviroment: line 3: unexpected EOF while looking for matching '"' dpkg: error processing install-info (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 install-info
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Also, process states that the following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
linux-headers-3.2.0.29 linux-headers-3.2.0.29-generic use apt-get autoremove to remove them.
When I run apt-get autoremove I get the same error as stated above.
** Affects: acct (Ubuntu)
