I just installed using today's saucy-desktop-amd64+mac.iso on a MacBook
Air (UEFI). The install went just fine (a couple really trivial
indicator glitches that disappeared on mouse over). At then end I got
the restart dialog and then progressed to the console after clicking the
button. At this point I got about 3 lines of syslog output and then
nothing. There was no "remove your install media and hit return"
message. I went ahead and hit return and the system rebooted and came up
just fine.

Bug description:
  The installer does not reboot after completing installation. The
  reboot dialog comes up but then after that the screen just goes blank
  and no reboot happens.

  This is on the 20130-10-10 amd64+mac Desktop image
