Public bug reported:

richardh at yoyogi:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description:	Ubuntu 13.04
Release:	13.04

Trycing to update to the new release 13.10

As far as I know, all my packages originate from ubuntu repositories exepct for spotify and skype.
But I have other ubuntu machines that I have successfully updated with exact same configuration.

Maybe the error should be more precise than:

This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

This error message reminds me about the VHDL synthesiser I used back at the university:
"There is an error somewhere in the 2 MB file, good luck solving it"

:-)
