Title:
upgrade from Ubuntu 13.04 to 13.10 fails allegedly due to unrecognized
non-Ubuntu approved repositories
Status in “ubuntu-release-upgrader” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Installer says it failed based on non-approved repositories or
upgrading from or to a pre-release product, which this is not the
latter. I installed this as Ubuntu 12.04, upgraded to 12.10, then
13.04, then installed alternate desktops Openbox and Gnome 2 & 3 from
repositories, which are the only non-Ubuntu ones I can find. Now
trying to upgrade to 13.10 since it's available for the first time
today. Machine is a dual Atom MSI Windtop all-in-one model AE1900 with
2 gb RAM.
