  Could saucy.tar.gz have a bogus encoding? Error at end is:

  "UnicodeDecodeError: 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0x8b in position 
  1: invalid start byte "

  Hopefully the 'ubuntu-bug' command included main.log.
