Pretending that libudev1 provides the libudev0 ABI is a lie, I won't add
that symlink to the official packages (that's bound to cause crashes).
Looks like chromium needs to be rebuilt against current udev.

Title:
Library symbolic link is missing for: /lib/x86_64-linux-
  gnu/libudev.so.1

Status in “systemd” package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  The library '/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libudev.so.1' requires an
additional symbolic link created as follows:

  sudo ln -s /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libudev.so.1 /lib/x86_64-linux-
  gnu/libudev.so.0

without the above link Google Chrome and Chromium fail to run with the
  error:

/opt/google/chrome/chrome: error while loading shared libraries:
libudev.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
  directory

Adding the link fixes the problem.
