It would also be useful at this stage to be able to set "compress" or
"compress=lzo" for workloads needing faster compression.

  wishlist for maveric: when using btrfs as root file system, I would
  like to set the compress mount option; this is currently impossible,
  because 'mount options' onyl offers a choice of general options
