This is the same with 12.04.3. Not only is the restricted broadcom
driver needless, but gives me weaker signal than the brcmsmac driver.
Also, when uninstallling the wl module from jockey, the blacklist
generated by said module is not removed, so that wireless does not work
AT ALL until its is deleted manually.

Title:
  Unnecessary restricted driver suggested

Status in “jockey” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in “software-properties” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Additional Drivers tab in software-properties suggests me to install a restricted driver as if it would be the only way to have my Wifi working. But this is erroneous, my Wifi is really working very well with no restricted drivers installed.
This fault was also in jockey in previous Ubuntu releases.
