I also use the loop-back method. When using Try Ubuntu, then trying to
launch the Install icon, nothing happens. If I use the Install from the
first menu, then Ubiquity finishes to completion.

  ubiquity does not start when cilcied from the unity launch panel, been
  broke since you added the ubuntuone single signon
