Title:
Ubuntu live CD volume set at 100%
Status in Ubuntu:
  New
Bug description:
Booting off the Live CD results in a deafening drum-roll/intro.
It's especially annoying on laptops as the soft volume/mute usually
  don't activate in time.
A more moderate default volume would be nice.
