This bug was filed against a very old beta release. Are you able to
reproduce it in the final, or preferably in 12.04 or later? I am not.

** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu)

Title:
"Erase... entire disk" crashes when selecting disk

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

The fourth installation step, Disk Setup, provides an option to "Erase
and use the entire disk". When more than one disk is present, this
option is accompanied by a drop-down menu from which the desired disk
may be selected. Selecting a different disk from this drop-down menu
  causes ubiquity to crash.

  I'm using ubiquity 2.2.5 from the Kubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) Beta 1 64-bit
  image.

  Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/frontend/kde_components/PartAuto.py", line 256, in on_extra_combo_changed
      e.setVisible(False)
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'setVisible'
