Public bug reported:

Upon Updating my trusty system and the isc-dhcp-client I get the error

/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/preinst: 17: /var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/preinst: Syntax
error: "fi" unexpected (expecting "then")

This means that isc-dhcp-client does not install and my updates do not
install.

** Affects: isc-dhcp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed

** Patch added: "Updated preinst script"
