@Israel, could you please file another report. From the machine where
installation failed, after the failure in the live session, open a
terminal and run the command:

ubuntu-bug ubiquity

Thanks

Title:
Installation hangs on loading partitioning if a previous EFI install
  of 14.04 exists

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Installing Ubuntu Studio on virtualbbox, ubiquity freezes when loading
partitioning - if an EFI installation of Ubuntu Studio 14.04 already
exists on the hard drive (need to do more test cases to see how
  exactly it fails).

A popup showing question marks appear. Something like ??????.
