See the following problems I came across in trusty: http://paste.ubuntu.com/7257215/
sudo apt-get install cpp-4.8-dbgsym does not work currently here on x86_64 as there are dependencies which are not available on my architecture ...
The scripts should be modified to separate the dependencies per platform.
