Experienced the same problem on HP ProBook 4530s
Thought that is due to either usb installer or disk partitions schema
are probably corrupted, checked disk image md5, but it is correct.

Bug description:
After copying files started it stopped this process and told it cant
do it becouse of some problems with CD or DVD or hard disk (too old or
some thing alike this), ubuntu 12.04 was setuping without any
problems. Thanks.
