  failed to upgrade 13.10 to 14.04

Status in “ubuntu-release-upgrader” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  It is the third time I try to upgrade
  I followed the revert ppa and done everything I could. 

  (process:4649): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion
  'sys_page_size == 0' failed

  (firefox:4649): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property
  GnomeProgram::sm-connect after class was initialised

  (firefox:4649): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property
  GnomeProgram::show-crash-dialog after class was initialised

  (firefox:4649): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property
  GnomeProgram::display after class was initialised

  (firefox:4649): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: Attempt to add property
  GnomeProgram::default-icon after class was initialised

  lsb_release -rd
  Description:	Ubuntu 13.10
  Release:	13.10
  akis at akis-Aspire-7530G:~$ 

  I get the same error as before
  it cannot calculate the upgrade
  and it reverts back to 13.10
