Public bug reported:

Just tried to install 14.04 today, but I want to use a custom disk
layout. I want to use syslinux bootloader with a 512MB sda1 on /boot,
then the rest of the disk as a btrfs subvolume. I set this up in the
live terminal, then I ran "ubiquity --no-bootloader". I also did not
select the option to format the partitions, since I had just performed
this step from the terminal. As soon as I proceeded past the disk setup
screen, ubiquity crashed.
