I tried to install the AVM USB WLAN Stick as described in http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/FRITZ!WLAN_USB_Stick
I have after uwe at ubuntu:/etc/ndiswrapper/fwlan64$ find /etc/ndiswrapper/
/etc/ndiswrapper/
/etc/ndiswrapper/fwlan64
/etc/ndiswrapper/fwlan64/fwlanusb.sys
/etc/ndiswrapper/fwlan64/fwlan64.inf
/etc/ndiswrapper/fwlan64/fwusb1b.bin
/etc/ndiswrapper/fwlan64/057C:6201.F.conf
/etc/ndiswrapper/fwlan64/057C:5601.F.conf

PROBLEM
uwe at ubuntu:~$ sudo modprobe ndiswrapper
FATAL: Module ndiswrapper not found.

But
uwe at ubuntu:~$ ndiswrapper -l
fwlan64 : driver installed
	device (057C:6201) present

PROBLEM
uwe at ubuntu:~$ iwconfig
eth0      no wireless extensions.

lo        no wireless extensions.

But
uwe at ubuntu:~$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 057c:6201 AVM GmbH AVM Fritz!WLAN v1.1 [Texas Instruments TNETW1450]
