Thanks for your report.

The media you are using is not clean and contains sources for Saucy and
Debian Wheezie. Could you use a freshly formatted media and try the
installation of 14.04 again.

Don't hesitate to submit any bug you may find.

  installation cannot complete

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  there is a reported problem with a file (a configuration file it
  seems) which already exists. the installer report the problem then
  stops. This happens after the installation has really begun, and after
  the localisation packets have been imported.

  tested twice, it happended all the time on a 64 bits new install
  (manual parttitionning)
