Please don't file a new bug for the same issue you already have a bug (
#1027951) for. Also from what you say, this has already been fixed.
Such a new feature will not be backported to precise; if you want it you
need to upgrade to 14.04 LTS.

** Changed in: grub2 (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  [precise] luks support in grub2

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Grub2 in precise does not support bootimg from encrypted luks volumes.
  Support was added in grub version 2.0.0. So ubuntu quantal has already
  this support. This means that it is not possible to use Ubuntu precise
  with encrypted /boot volume which leads to lower security. Ubuntu
  quantal does not have this problem.
