So what does dpkg -L python-crypto print? Looking at the log though that
something with regards to the your dpkg database is fishy: "dpkg-query:
error: libgstreamer0.10-0:amd64 0.10.28-1 (Multi-Arch: no) is not co-
installable with libgstreamer0.10-0 which has multiple installed
instances" is worrying. Which dpkg version is this?

  12.04 to 14.04 upgrade gets this error during upgrade, python-crypto
  failed to install/upgrade. Running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS pretty basic
