[Bug 1357645] [NEW] Could not calculate the 12.04-14.04 upgrade

Public bug reported:

Updating from 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS. Worked fine on an old HP desktop
PC this morning, also running the KDE / Kubuntu 12.04 OS and Plasma GUI,
but does not like updating my Toshiba Sattelite 100 laptop. Don't know
why this should make a difference. Will restart the laptop and try
again.
