  unable to encrypt or sign emails or files with gnupg2

  New

Bug description:
  With a new installation of UbuntuStudio 14.04 LTS, and moving my
  applications over from a dual boot Windows7 to ubuntu, I wanted to
  continue using Thunderbird and enigmail to encrypt and sign emails.  I
  also wanted to use Kleopatra and /or GPA gui's which I was used to in
  Windows.

  So I installed gnupg2:   gnupg2 2.0.22-3ubuntu1

  and Kleopatra : kleopatra 4:4.13.1-0ubuntu0.1

  and GPA : gpa 0.9.4-1

  (having checked with gnupg.org that gnupg 1 and 2 should be able to
  coexist).

  I expected to send a signed email.

  Thunderbird would not send a signed email - giving a 'bad password'
  message although it had not asked me for a password.

   Thunderbird had correctly found /usr/bin/gpg and my public and
  private keyrings had been correctly imported by enigmail's key manager
  and they displayed correctly in Kleopatra and in GPA.

  I  tried in a terminal to sign, encrypt files.    Using gpg, the
  signing and verifying worked after asking for the password but
  produced a message saying :

  gpg: problem with the agent - disabling agent use

  Using gpg2,   signing and clearsigning failed  without asking for a
  password with this error :

  gpg: problem with the agent: No PINentry
  gpg: no default secret key: Operation cancelled

  Using gpg2, files signed earlier by gpg could be verified.

  Kleopatra and GPA would not sign nor verify files.

  I checked, and gpg-agent seemed to be running.  Both pinentry-gtk-2
  and pinentry-Qt4 were installed.  ' Pinentry' in the terminal produced
  a response from Qt4 and getpin seemed to work ok.

  I removed gnupg2 , Kleopatra and GPA from the pc and rebooted.

  Thunderbird 24.6 with enigmail 1.6 worked correctly using pinentry-
  gtk-2 dialog to request password and then sending signed and encrypted
  mail using the default installation of gnupg 1.4.16
