Bug description:
  Binary package hint: udev

  While booting, a lot of errors from udevd-work are visible. This is
  after installation of Karmic beta with LVM (alternate cd)

  $ grep udev /var/log/daemon.log
  Oct  6 15:20:09 pc-alvin udevd-work[713]: rename(/dev//.udev-tmp, /dev//) failed: Invalid cross-device link
