Your EFI system partition appears to be corrupt. Please run chkdsk on
it from windows, or run sudo dosfsck /dev/sda2 in Ubuntu to check and
repair it.

Title:
  grub installation failure

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
On trying to install ubuntu in my Lenovo z50-70 laptop (i5 processor,
  8Gb RAM, 1 TB HDD) preloaded with windows 8.1, I get a grub-installer
failure. I have created separate partitions for ubuntu installation
(three partitons for /, /home and /swap) using the windows disk
managment tool. The computer has a UEFI partition with windows
bootloader and I am trying to install ubuntu 14.10 using USB flash
(the boot device is set to /dev/sda). The computer boots into windows
  without a problem.
